Breaking in your new pads

PAD CHARACTERISTICS RELATIVITY CHART:

RULES FOR BREAKING IN YOUR NEW PADS

1. AVOID BREAKING IN NEW PADS ON NEW ROTORS. NEW ROTORSREQUIRE A SLOW BREAK IN CYCLE TO PROPERLY CURE A "GREEN ROTOR". IF YOU MUST USE NEW PADS ON A NEW ROTOR, USE OUR PRE CURED PADS.

2. PROPERLY CURING A NEW PAD REQUIRES THE TEMPERATURES TO INCREASE TO OVER 600 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. IF YOU DO NOT GET ADEQUATE TIME TO BREAK IN PADS, OR IF YOU ARE USING ALUMINUM ROTORS WHICH WILL BE DAMAGED BY THOSE TEMPERATURES, USE OUR PRE CURED PADS.

3. FOR BEST RESULTS, AFTER BREAKING IN THE NEW PADS, ALLOW THEM TO COOL DOWN NATURALLY TO WHERE YOU CAN TOUCH THEM. THEN THEY ARE READY FOR ANYTHING!

4. DON?T DEPEND ON COLOR CODES TO IDENTIFY PADS. THERE IS NO COLOR CODE STANDARD FOR PADS BETWEEN MANUFACTURER?S, SO YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. THIS IS WHY WE USE NUMBERS SO YOU WILL KNOW FOR SURE WHAT TO ORDER NEXT TIME!
