SPOTLIGHT TECH

Outdated caliper designs use all-aluminum construction, in most cases cast. Aluminum loses tensile strength as temperature increses. Racing brake systems generate heat loads that easily weaken aluminum, casuing brake drag and pedal drop.
The patented Tornado is uses forged steel in the key stress areas with forged billet aluminum halves. This means even at racing temperatures there is virtually no deflection; which delivers a consistent pedal, no drag, and even pad wear.

Click to see what happens to inferior cast aluminum calipers....

Number of pistons? Size of pistons? It is all about Total Piston Surface Area... In fact, the higher number of pistons, the lower the overall clamping force; as longer calipers flex more, and have pistons in key stress areas. Do the math on your calipers and compare to The Brake Man.
